COS - 'Zibibbo In Pithos' IGP Sicilia 2016
The Zibibbo (Sicilian for Muscat) has been partially aged on skins to give not just a richer colour but also a fantastical aromatic profile. Don't worry there isn't tannin like in an orange wine just a fuller body and MUCH more flavour. Think golden raisin, spiced peaches, clove and nutmeg too. A touch of apricot jam and candied orange peel on the palate too. This is unbelievably good!
